I turn ideas into products people use.

I'm Dwiti, a product-minded software engineer focused on scalable web applications, full-stack systems, and AI-powered experiences.

Currently working on enterprise applications, exploring AI-driven products, and building solutions that bridge the gap between technology and real-world problems.

My Journey

From interfaces to entire systems.

I started with frontend development because I enjoyed creating user experiences. As I built more projects, I became increasingly curious about how products actually work beneath the interface.

That curiosity led me into backend systems, databases, authentication, APIs, architecture decisions, and AI integrations.

Today I enjoy building complete systems rather than isolated features — whether it's enterprise dashboards, learning tools, or accessibility-focused applications. I like to understand the problem first and then design the right solution.

What I Care About

The lens I bring to every product.

Ownership

I enjoy taking responsibility for outcomes rather than simply implementing requirements.

Systems Thinking

I like understanding how individual pieces connect to create reliable products.

Useful AI

AI is most valuable when it solves meaningful user problems rather than acting as a novelty.

Product Thinking

Technology is only successful when it creates value for the people using it.

Featured Work

Case studies, not project cards.

Each of these projects taught me something specific about building useful systems around unpredictable inputs.

01

Study BuddyLive

Turning AI-generated information into structured learning experiences.

Problem

Students copy-paste PDFs and YouTube transcripts into chatbots and get unstructured walls of text. The information is there — the learning experience isn't.

Approach

Designed an ingestion pipeline that normalises mixed media (PDFs, video transcripts) into a single content graph, then orchestrates LLM calls to produce summaries, flashcards, and quizzes with predictable shape.

Technical Challenges
  • Keeping AI output deterministic enough to render in fixed UI components
  • Handling long-context documents without blowing token budgets
  • Reliable extraction across malformed PDFs and auto-generated captions
Architecture

Next.js · Edge functions for ingestion · Background workers for embedding · Structured output via JSON schema · Postgres + pgvector

Outcome

Students could move from raw source material to a study session in under a minute, with consistent interactions across every generation.

Lesson Learned

Integrating AI is relatively straightforward. Creating predictable user experiences around unpredictable AI output is significantly harder.

02

Smart BookmarkLive

Using AI and automation to reduce information clutter.

Problem

Bookmark managers are graveyards. Links get saved, titles stay cryptic, and nothing is actually findable a week later.

Approach

Built a per-user vault where every saved link is enriched in the background — summary, tags, and topic clusters generated automatically. Search works on what the page is about, not just its title.

Technical Challenges
  • Designing user-scoped data with row-level security from day one
  • Reliability when third-party pages block scrapers or change shape
  • Keeping metadata fresh without re-processing the entire library
Architecture

React + Vite · Supabase auth & Postgres · Edge functions for enrichment · Queue with retries · LLM for metadata + classification

Outcome

Recovering a half-remembered link became a question of intent rather than recall.

Lesson Learned

Small workflow improvements often create more value than large feature sets.

Building Now

An engineering journal, not a showcase.

Research & prototyping

Vani

A communication bridge between sign language users and voice users.

Less a finished product, more an ongoing investigation into how multimodal AI can support real conversations — not demos.

Lessons From Building

Notes I keep coming back to.

01
Performance
Building enterprise dashboards taught me that performance improvements often come from many small optimizations rather than a single breakthrough.
02
AI Systems
Working with AI systems taught me that consistency and user experience matter just as much as model quality.
03
Architecture
Owning larger modules reinforced the importance of maintainability and clear architectural decisions.
